Lewis "Randy" Gridley is Founder and Principal of Gridley Associates Inc. He started his financial planning practice after a successful twenty-year career on Wall Street, most recently as a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston. Randy's experience has given him a real insider's perspective on the money management world. Randy holds a BA from the University of Vermont and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business in New York. He earned his CFP designation in 1999 after receiving certification from the College of Financial Planning. Randy is an active member of the national Financial Planning Association, is involved in numerous pro bono activities related to his practice, and is an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University in San Francisco teaching graduate level courses in financial planning.
Michael is a Director of Financial Planning at Pinnacle Advisers, an active member of the Financial Planners Association, a writer for trade and peer-reviewed journals and a speaker at numerous conferences. He oversees the process of analyzing, researching and compiling all financial plans for Pinnacle customers and helps guide customers through the financial planning process. Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Bates College with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with Honors and earned a Masters of Science in Financial Services from American College. In 2006, Michael was recognized by Financial Planning Magazine as one of eight Movers & Shakers within the profession. He writes his own column for Wealth and Retirement Planner magazine, has been a guest on CNBC PowerLunch, NBC Nightly News, CNN Live and NPR's "On Point." Michael has been quoted in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, BusinessWeek, USA Today, The Washington Post and The New York Times.
Tarak graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Math and Philosophy, and has worked as an actuary and financial analyst. He works with Randy and Michael to develop Boulevard R's financial model, based on the latest research and best practices in financial planning. Additionally, he has experience as a math teacher and is focused on creating access for all people to the knowledge and education required to determine their own financial future.
Felipe brings to Boulevard R his deep expertise in software development, with 15 years of experience and a Masters in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to Boulevard R, Felipe was at Nokia where he developed an innovative solution for software distribution over the Internet, resulting in a number of patents pending. In Brazil, his native country, Felipe has been a key contributor in developing nonprofit social networks and promoting technology for social development.
Darius graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Computer Science and is a startup enthusiast. Prior to joining Boulevard R he did his own startup, FaceMaze.com, which was a social networking site running sophisticated face recognition software. Darius works closely with Matt and Felipe and is not only our Flash/Flex aficionado, but is also responsible for coding a significant portion of the calculations that run on the site.
David has 18 years of experience ranging from management consulting to manufacturing and is working with Matt on product development and marketing. Dave has extensive experience in strategic planning, field marketing and new product marketing/development. Dave holds an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. Prior to starting Mager Consulting, his previous employers included Procter and Gamble, Booz Allen, Kuczmarski & Associates (marketing consulting firm), Proxicom (Internet consulting firm), and Straightline Associates (affiliated network of independent consultants).
Mojdeh has guided our user experience design process. She is a design strategist, an out of the box thinker, with a strong empathy for the user and a passion for creating usable products and memorable user experiences. She has successfully designed, directed, and launched products and projects for start-ups as well as Fortune 500 companies. Mojdeh is a partner at Blurred Whisper specializing in innovative design and product development.
