About Vincent R. Barbera

I am a fee-only planner.

I have acquired over six year of experience as a financial advisor and planner that I can pass on to my clients. In addition to this experience, I am also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Financial Services.

I joined TGS from the Vanguard Group, where I worked for the past four years as a financial planner in the Asset Management department. In addition to my responsibilities as a financial planner, I led a number of business efficiency initiatives. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in Psychology and Business. In March of 2006, I earned my Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Financial Services from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

I am actively involved in the financial planning community, serving on the Public Awareness Committee and having recently been elected to the Board of Directors with the local chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). I am also an active member of NexGen, a national organization supporting young financial planners.
