Whether the goal is saving for education or planning for retirement, Randy's knowledge and experience can help you work to reach your goals.
Lewis "Randy" Gridley, MBA, CFP® is founder and Principal of Gridley Associates Inc. He started his financial planning practice after a successful twenty-year career on Wall Street, most recently as a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston. During that time, he worked closely with institutional money managers focused primarily on fixed income and related options and derivative products. His career included stints in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. This experience has given Randy a real insider's perspective of the money management world.
Randy holds a BA from the University of Vermont and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business in New York. Randy is past President and Chairman of the Financial Planning Association of San Francisco, former Chair of its Public Relations Committee and has made numerous appearances on radio and TV. In addition, he is an active member of the national Financial Planning Association, involved in various pro bono activities related to his practice, former Interim Director of the Financial Planning Program at Golden Gate University, and an Adjunct Professor teaching graduate level courses in financial planning.
Experience
Before founding Gridley Associates Inc., he worked on Wall Street for over 20 years, most recently with Credit Suisse First Boston. He attended University of Vermont and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. He furthered his education at Columbia Graduate School of Business, where he received his MBA in 1982.
